Yonder Mountain String Band 

At 26 years old, Grammy-nominated Yonder Mountain String Band continues to exist at the forefront of the progressive bluegrass scene as one of the undeniable innovators and pioneers of the modern jam-grass movement.

Blending bluegrass with elements of rock, alternative and improvisational music, Yonder Mountain brought their high-energy, sound and psychedelic light show into rock n’ roll settings with tremendous success, proving it possible for a bluegrass band to not only exist but excel in a rock world, without drums. The inroads they made created opportunities for like-minded acoustic bands to perform at festivals, rock clubs, theaters and stadiums previously considered off-limits for string bands.

Yonder Mountain’s original music and anything goes attitude helped cultivate a spirit of collaborative improvisation that continues to fuel today’s progressive bluegrass and jam-grass scenes.

Take the East or the West Tour on Saturdays, 9:00 to 11:30 am, April through October, rain or shine. Tours are limited to 15 people and cover about two miles at a leisurely pace. Tab Benoit

In 1992 Benoit released his first recording Nice and Warm on the Justice Label. The title track became a AAA Radio hit and Benoit’s touring career kicked into high gear. Nice and Warm prompted comparisons to blues guitar heavyweights like Albert King, Albert Collins and even Jimi Hendrix. Tab began playing two-hundred and fifty shows a year, a schedule he has kept up for over twenty years.

Ozark Mountain Daredevils

Since their early beginnings in 1971, the Daredevils have released a number of major label and independent record label recordings, traveled millions of miles performing throughout North America and Europe, and they continue to grow and maintain a loyal and dedicated fan base throughout the world. Their songs are regularly played on Classic Radio stations and, of course, songs like “If You Wanna Get To Heaven,” “Jackie Blue,” “Chicken Train,” “Standing On The Rock,” and countless others are still fan favorites across all media. Their current lineup of talented musicians allows the band to perform songs from every corner of their vast catalog, and they continue to delight Dareheads with their live performances. With three of the original co-founders still on board, their signature sound and style remain intact and vibrant.

Asleep At The Wheel

For over fifty years, Asleep at the Wheel’s Ray Benson has been traversing the globe as an ambassador of Western swing music and introducing its irresistible sound to generation after generation. GET STUMPED every First Thursday with 45 trivia questions from a variety of categories, designed to astound, gob smack, flummox, baffle, bamboozle, and vex! If you answer just one question correctly, you've done the impossible. If they're all too hard, ya can't say you weren't warned by the very name of the event itself! That said, I have never agreed with a single person I've ever heard say the words "I'm not good at trivia" We all have our niche! We begin around 8:45PM, so arrival by 8:30PM is recommended. We play three games. Show up late to catch the second or third game, or leave after the first or second game if you have an earlier bedtime or somethin' else to do! Prizes will be awarded for each game as well as a grand prize for highest score of the entire night. (It's mostly drinks. This is a bar, after all.) Team size is limited to SIX per team, and admission is FREE. (But buy some drinks. This is a bar, after all.)

I'll also typically do my best to ensure that there's free, fresh popcorn available on-site in basically whatever amount you could wish for. BRING YOUR OWN Bowl or Cup!
